Born in north London, England, Pati Bannister moved to the United States in 1952 and settled on the Mississippi Gulf Coast where she spent her time painting and sculpting the young girls of her imagination. The exotic flowers, gossamer fabrics, and unique backgrounds are key elements of Pati Bannister's unique style and extraordinary popularity.
Pati Bannister retired from the national print market in January 2006. The sad news is that many of Pati Bannister's limited editions were lost in Hurricane Katrina and so few are now left on the open market. Pati Bannister has closed her warehouse and all inventory has now been disposed of by professional shredders. Availability has been reduced to dealers' stock and secondary market sources only. Please do not postpone the purchase of your favorite Pati Bannister print as it may not be available in the very near future.
The Pati Bannister prints listed on this website are all gallery stock and have never been in the hands of a private collector. Candlelight Gallery has been in the Fine Art and Custom Framing business for 25 years. Dianne Nazaretian, owner of the gallery, has been certified as a professional framer for over 20 years.
